Memorial service for Gloria Miller Jones, 63, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Cynthia Whaley.
Gloria passed away Friday, June 06, 2014. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late William J. Miller Sr. and Christine Mayers. Gloria was a former member of Greater St. Luke Baptist Church. She retired from Newberry Middle School where she was a cook.
Surviving are her children, Harold James Jones Jr., Lahunta Denise Jones, Willona C. Jones, Kristal L. Jones; grandchildren, Kenyada B. Jones, Tequoyia S. Jones and Aaliyah D. Jones. She is also survived by a brother, William J. Miller Jr.; sister, Cynthia Whaley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
