James "Jim" William Donaldson

Jim was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 8, 1943 to Clifford and Ann Donaldson (predeceased). Jim went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Germany, and then in Sumter, South Carolina. He met the love of his life there, Sandra Wilson. After they were married, they moved to Columbia, South Carolina and raised their three children there, Christopher Wilson Donaldson (Kim Donaldson), Wendy Elizabeth Watkins (deceased), & James (Jim) Donaldson (deceased). Chris & Kim have one daughter, Christin Taylor Burris (Thomas Christopher) & Christin & Chris have three daughters, Annsley Katherine, Addison Grace and Aly Lysbeth Burris. Jim loved his children, granddaughter and three great-granddaughters dearly.

Jim and Sandra owned and operated Carpet Kare in Irmo, South Carolina for over 40 years. They were passionate about time with dear Friends at the University of South Carolina football games, boating on Lake Murray and relaxing at the beach in Garden City, South Carolina with their dogs and birds. Jim was known for his ice blue eyes, quick wit and humor and a good nature.
