COLUMBIA - A graveside service for James Sheldon Newell, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Bush River Memorial Gardens. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. Newell passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018. Born in Watertown, MA. on December 1, 1942, he was a son of the late Richard Newell and Irene Dailey Newell.
James was a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, MA. with a degree in accounting. He was a practicing CPA in Foxborough, MA. He was also an avid New England Sports Fan.
Surviving are his wife, Denise McHugh Newell; son, Jami M. Newell (Sandy) of Irmo; grandchildren, Haley and Jared; step-daughter, Michelle Glennon (Kerry) of Billrica, MA; step-grandchildren, Brandon and Liam; and brother, Robert Newell (Kathy) of Brockton, MA.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Richard Newell.
