Jeannine "Gina" Smith Blackburn

Jeannine Louise Smith-Blackburn “Gina”, 67 of South Carolina, passed away suddenly on March 3rd, 2022. Born on July 29th, 1954, Jeannine grew up in Brunswick, New York where she attended George Washington Elementary School, School 16 and Troy High School, where she graduated with honors in 1972. She was predeceased by her mother, Mildred W. Halse-Smith, her father George W. Smith and her grandson Jackson Ellis. She is survived by her husband William Blackburn, her two daughters, Kelly Webb (Mary) of Florida and Ashley Ellis (Mike) of South Carolina. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Emily, Mylee and Logan Ellis, a sister, two brothers and several nieces and nephews and her childhood best friend, Diane Prout-Schneider. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in her name to your local animal shelter. Gina loved of all animals.
