IRMO Funeral service for Jonathan Robert Ebling, 88, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at The Episcopal Church of St. Simon & St. Jude. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel is assisting the family. Mr. Ebling died Saturday, November 8, 2014. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired Captain from the Trumbull Police Department in Connecticut. Following his retirement he served for over ten years as a Constable for the Columbia Police Department. Surviving are his wife, Catherine; and a son Jon C. Ebling of Stowe, VT.
