

Michael was born October 5, 1957 in Columbia, South Carolina to Joseph Majar and Frances Evelyn Majar. He was a graduate of Lower Richland High School and attended Lander College. He served his country in the United States Air Force.
Michael had a long career in automotive sales and won various awards and reorganization for his integrity, knowledge and salesmanship. He was a devoted family man to his wife, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Enjoying family beach vacations each year.
Michael is survived by his wife, Lisa Price Majar; son, Joseph Brooks Majar; daughter, Brittonie Majar Donahue (Kyle Johnson); daughter, Ella Grace Majar; sister, Monique Culbertson (Joe); brother, Mitchell Neal Majar; 5 grandchildren, Kaine Donahue, Lincoln and Axel Johnson, Dallas and Cash Majar; in-laws, Karen and Michael Porterfield; good friends, Jeff Herndon and Robert Diaz; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Evelyn Majar and father-in-law, L. Wilburn Price.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, 1205 Old Cherokee Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Family visitation will follow the service. Due to COVID the family requests the use of masks.
In lieu of flowers, Michael request that memorials be made to the college fund of daughter Ella Grace Majar, Joseph Majar Memorial Fund c/o South Carolina Federal Credit Union, 5075 Sunset Boulevard, Lexington, SC 29072, or Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church.
