

Ken was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the late Kenneth Ray Streeter and Henrietta Toohey Streeter. He graduated from Rockford High School and served four years in the USAF. He retired from Fort Jackson as a NAF employee with Outdoor Recreation. He was a member of the Chapin United Methodist Church and for many years was active in the children’s ministry.
In addition to his roles as husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, Ken was a PTA president, a little league football coach, a volunteer and mentor.
He will be remembered for his smile, his kindness and wicked sense of humor that he brought to all phases of his life.
He loved fishing, hunting, boating, panning for gold, the USC Gamecocks, the Detroit Lions and Cheerwine soda.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, his son, Kenneth Shawn Streeter and step brother John (Doc) Brecken.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Barbara Seale Streeter, their daughter Victoria (Michael) Geronimakis, step sisters Donna (Bill) VanZee, Sharon (Mike) Braford, Pat (Mark) Peterson, one step brother Michael (Sue) Streeter, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23rd at Chapin United Methodist Church at 415 Lexington Ave Chapin, SC 29036. Family will receive visitors at the church at 2 p.m.
