Born in Puerto Rico in 1922, Noelia pursued her passion for nursing, studying in Colorado. She returned to Puerto Rico and eventually settled in Columbia, South Carolina. Throughout her life, she cherished her Persian cats, enjoyed reading, and had a special fondness for antique dolls. She also had a talent for cooking and sewing. Above all, her greatest love was her family. She valued time spent with her grandchildren playing Scrabble, Chinese checkers, and other card games.
Noelia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Karl, and her son, Karl L. Horn. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kelly, and her three adored grandchildren: Karl Joseph (Sara Anne), Kenneth Joseph (Renae), and Katherine Marie Cartee (Andrew Jameson), along with three great-grandchildren: Karl Ethan, Sullivan Asher, and Greyson James.
A small family service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PETS inc, a local non-profit animal rescue.
