Funeral service for Paul Hershel Rowe, 82, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Rowe died Sunday, March 1, 2015. Born in Danville, Ill., he was a son of the late John Hershel Rowe and Ruth Marie Coffey Rowe. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and was an avid Gamecock fan. Mr. Rowe loved to travel to areas to hunt and fish, which was his passion. He was able to turn his hobby into a business and owned Fishie Tackle for many years. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Theresa Ann Gairns Rowe.
Surviving are his daughter, Pattie R. Loner (Butch) of Rock Hill; grandchildren, Wendy Sinopoli, Christopher Atkins, Kimberly Bellinger; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Austin, Christian and Tristin. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis Bellinger.
