
Bob was the son of the late Frank and Eleanor Inniss. He has a sister, Jean Inniss Tomlin, and was predeceased by his brother, Michael Inniss, and his sister, Caroline Inniss Bills. In addition, Bob was preceded in death by his late wife, Carol Rogers Inniss. They have one son, Jeffery Inniss, and two grandchildren, Alex Inniss (Whitney) and Flannery Inniss.
Bob is survived by his wife, Pat Douglas Inniss; his three stepdaughters, Jerri (Philip), Stacy (Wes), and Tracy (Kevin); nine grandchildren, Ashley, Katelyn, Jenny, Dillon, Chandler, Lily, and Kempton; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Bob was employed by Westinghouse as HR Manager for 34 years. He served in the US Army as a First Lieutenant. Bob was an avid golfer and was very active in his church, including being a member of the Serendipity Sunday School class. He was also an alumnus of Texas A&M University.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Chapin Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Michael Hull and Phillip Vaughan. Burial will be immediately following the service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, is assisting the family
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
