Barbara Jean Duncan

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away at her home on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the age of 69. She is survived by her children, Toni M. Wheeler, India (Terry) Treadway, Milton (Jessica) Headen Jr., Micheal (Scarlette) Headen,Sr. and Marion (Keanna) Headen; grandchildren, Gerald, Troy, Carys, India, Davonte, Monique, Michael Jr., Treshawn, Aaden, Samiyah, Gabriella, Javone, Milton III, Michah, Taylor, Mikayla, Miliyah Jean, Ausar, Lyric, Mila, Nova, Ilena and an additional five grandchildren; great grandchild: Kai’Yaira; siblings, Marion H. (Amanda), Wheeler Jr., Birdena (Karl) Kendrick, Emma Lyons, Phillip Spencer, Lee Spencer, Richard (Barbara) Goldston, Charlotte Carter, Manford Goldston Jr. In addition to both her biological and adoptive parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Loraine Alabi and Linda Goldston. Barbara was born on January 20, 1954 in Battle Creek, MI to Mildred Hard and Manford Goldston, but God saw that it was fit to place Barbara in the hands of Rev. Dr. Marion H. and Nora J. Wheeler. She was raised in the Church and was a talented musician. She adored children and was Sunday school teacher. She was serve to the community and was always willing to help others when she was able to. A Homegoing Celebration of Barbara's life will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, (523 Washington St., Albion, Michigan 49224). Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 12:00 PM. A family hour will be held at 11:00 AM.

She will be laid to rest in Albion Memory Gardens, 26905 B-Drive S, Albion, Michigan 49224.
