Of Jackson, MI passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 79. Barbara was born on February 28, 1942, in Jackson, MI to parents Jay C. Williams and Marie V. Miller. She married James W. Hackworth, Sr. on January 20, 1962. Barbara worked for Meijer, Inc. as a deli clerk and retired from there. She is survived by her son James (Vickie) Hackworth; grandchildren Elizabeth (Andy) Webb, Nick Baldwin, and Shauna Baldwin; great grandchildren Lucas and Galen; and siblings Bernadine Baldwin and Robert (Rosemary) Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband James Hackworth and her parents Jay and Marie. Services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM Hillcrest Memorial Park, with Rusty Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
