Of Horton, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2012 at the age of 88. He was born in Franklin Township, Indiana on April 28, 1924 and was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer S. and Margret J. Hagerty, and brothers Thomas and Wayne. Bernard is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gladys; loving father of Sharon (Dwight) Crall, John (Terri) Hagerty, Barbara Cornstubble, and William (Kathleen) Hagerty; grandchildren, Debra Crall, Jean Moore, Marla Reiss, Joseph Hagerty, Becky Corbitt, Dale Cornstubble, Jr., Lisa Bennett, Heather Dillenbeck, David Cornstubble, Chad Hagerty, and Jeffry Hagerty; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; silbings, Eleanor Chevillot, Lela Jackson, Jim Hagerty. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11:00a.m. at Village Hope Church (123 East Porter St.) with visitation on Sunday September 9, 2012 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Village Hope Church Building Fund. Bernard will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
