

Bryant Devoin Kirkland (BK) will always be remembered with a smile, a laugh, a memory, joy and so much love. He would light up a room, and make you laugh so hard you cry. BK had many passions in this life: detailing cars, bowling, fishing, blues (his favorite blues song was Knee Deep), painting, playing horseshoes, and so much more. He impacted so many people and was the source of so much laughter and happiness. BK was a beacon from the moment he entered this world on January 18th, 1971, to Tamerra and Leon Kirkland. He graduated from high school in San Diego, California in 1990. Bryant is preceded in death by his Mother Tammy, Grandfather John D Glaspie Sr, Grandmother Enis Glaspie, Grandfather Isadore Kirkland, Grandmother Grace Kirkland, a host of aunts and uncles, but special mention to his favorite Uncle Tony, and his brother, Jeff. He is cherished and survived by his Father Leon Kirkland, Step-mother Laurie Adams, Special Mention to the Mother of three of his sons, Parris Mcgee-Rivers (whom he loved dearly), his children: Matt (Stephanie) Brown, Kevin Portis, Cylor (Victor) Fagan, Bryant Kirkland Jr, Markwon Kirkland, Bless Mills, and Jahcobey Kirkland, his ten grandchildren, his sisters: Felicia Frenchwood, Deborah (Ray) Crenshaw, Denelle (Jared) Adams, David Adams and a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. BK will be missed, immensely.
