Of Jackson, MI passed away on July 6, 2015 at the age of 71. Carol was born on July 21, 1943 in Salyersville, KY to parents Dewey and Viola Gipson. She married Therman Bailey in September 25, 1959. She was avid animal lover, enjoyed puzzle books and watching movies on Lifetime T V. She loved being with her grandchildren and great- grandchild. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Therman, children, Therman (Juanita) Bailey Jr., Larry (Tina) Bailey, Jerry (Candy) Bailey, Willam Ray (Thersea) Bailey, Kernie Joe Bailey, seventeen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild, two brothers, two sisters. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters, and four brothers. Funeral service will be held on July 10, 2015 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Castle officiating. Visitation on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Lake) Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family for final arrangements.
