Born August 5, 1946 passed on September 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Eagen and Lillian Harris; brother, Tom Eagen and nephew, Mark Eagen. Carol is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Larry Sobota; son, Jeff Sobota; daughter, Kriss (Sobota) Trusty; sister, Dolores Thompson; nephew, several nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Carol worked with the developmentally disabled, was a proud supporter of the Special Olympics, and adored her family and extended family. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 12:00 with her Home-Going Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends after the service at 1708 S. Jackson Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Special Olympics Area 19.
