

Of Jackson, passed away March 4, 2017 age 93. Survived by one daughter, Trudy L. (Terry) Bird, one son, Chuck W. (Cindy) Lobdell, one grandson, Gerry C. (Lynsay) Lobdell, one granddaughter, Tiffany L. (Dustin) Pollard, great grandchildren, Jaxon C. Lobdell, Madeline and Dylan Pollard, one sister, Doris Cole and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Esther, two grandchildren, Steve S. Lobdell and Tammy Lynn Bird, one brother, David Lobdell, his parents, Harold and Evelyn Lobdell, step mother, Lane Lobdell. Charlie enjoyed bowling, golfing (especially his hole in one), hunting, fishing, euchre and visiting the Virginia Coney Island. He owned and operated Lobdell’s Party Store and worked for Allied Chucker Engineering for 50 years. He served in the Army during WWII. Charlie will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A special thank you to Kevin, Leigh and Bobby Ganton and Henry Ford Allegiance Health. A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at the funeral home, Wednesday March 8, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. Burial Roseland Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 3-6 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
