Our paths crossed many years ago as teenagers at East Jackson High and later as teachers at Mason Middle School.
I knew you to be a person of great wisdom, wit and  tremendous capacity 
for caring.I enjoyed the many breakfasts lunches and conversations we shared.
Although the earth has lost a fantastic human being, heaven has gained a beautiful soul.

Ms. Roe was my teacher when I was in 8th grade (1985-86) at Mason Middle School.  I remember her fondly as a very caring, kind teacher who made Algebra fun.  My sincerest condolences to her family and friends -- what a legacy she leaves in your memories and those of her fellow teachers and students.

I taught at Mason (she was middle school and I was elementary) and was on several committees with Cheryl and my son had her for Math.  She was a special teacher and friend.  She always had a smile for you.  Thoughts and prayers for her family.

I worked with Cheryl during my first five years of teaching.  She always had a smile on her face and a joke to share.  Heaven gained a special angel.  My sympathies to the family.

So sorry to here this.  Cheryl lived across the street from my parents years ago, and my Dad enjoyed talking to her.  She always had a bright smile!

She was such a nice person, always there with a smile and ready to help in any way she could. I miss our chats about politics, genealogy, ebaying, and national problems neither of us could resolve. She offered a friendship that only comes along once. Rest in peace!

I taught with Cheryl many years.  My sons both had her for 8th grade math and enjoyed her class very much and learned a lot. She was a good friend and helped me out several times.  I will miss her. Margaret Clarke

"Miss Roe" was my 9th grade Math teacher at Mason Junior High in 1972-1973. She was not only a great teacher, but such a nice person and a favorite teacher that I always remembered fondly. I am sad for her passing. Please know I will always remember her - she made every student feel special.  30 years after I had Miss Roe - she often mistakenly called my niece by my name. Talk about a teacher remembering their students! That shows how she got to know and care about her "kids." Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Cheryl  was a great lady....a true friend in every sense of the word. I valued her friendship for 35 years, she taught me so much. Thank you, Cheryl. She will be missed greatly. My Colorado daughters pass on their condolences.

Cheryl was one of the most wonderful persons any one could know. We were very good friends as well as sister-in-law. I will never forget all the good times we had together . She will surely be missed by all

Cheryl was a great teacher and friend. I am so sad to learn of her passing. Wish I could be there for the memorial to honor her friendship. She was one special lady.

I am saddened by the passing of Cheryl.  She was a very special person to everyone in the 1962 class at EJHS.  She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.  Those of us that knew her are blessed.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
