Age 89, of Jackson, formerly of Kalamazoo, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012, at home. Born July 23, 1922 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of Parley and Jennie Shepard, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Junior R. Conner, in 1992. Connie is survived by her son, James (Ricki) Conner, of Jackson, along with grandchildren, Christi (Patrick) Slabinski, Torrey (Terry) Sweezey, and Todd (Angela) Piket, plus 10 great-grandchildren. Connie will also be missed by her many friends at Maple Ridge West, where she lived for the last seven years. Per Connie’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Allegiance Hospice in her honor.
