I have only fond and precious memories of your mother; so sorry to learn of her passing and your family's great loss.

The entire Grant family always showed me great compassion and kindness, which I'll never forget.

I am shocked to just learn about Esther, a week after her funeral.  She was a very kind and wonderful lady.  I'm sure she is sadly missed.  My heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with her family.

I've seen Esther a few times since she retired and she was the same energetic and fun-loving lady I remembered!  RIP Esther.  You will be missed.

For nearly 50 years, Esther & I shared raising our families, fun, laughter & more memories than I can express. To say I will miss her is definitely an understatement. I know she is in a better place & we will meet again someday, but my heart still has to catch up with that thought. Please know you are in our thoughts & prayers.

Dear family,
Though miles kept us apart Esther was never forgotten. I remember when Aunt Margaret and your wife and mom would come to Richmond to visit during the summer. Esther was sweet,funny, and caring. I was seven years younger than she and remember going to the store getting her peach ice cream. I still have those fun memories. Though we lost contact over the years what was shared doing those summers kept me connected to her. God bless and may her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.

To the Family of Mrs. Esther L. Grant:  You all are in my thoughts and prayers.  I worked for/with Mrs. Grant for a number of years at the Housing Commission and she was a very homorous lady. We used to share email jokes... She also was a very Resilient, helpful and smart individual.
