Floyd Dewayne Speer of Jackson, Michigan passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at the age of 84. He was born on May 28, 1939 in Rector, Arkansas to Archie Woodrow Speer and Hessie Speer. He will be remembered by his wife of 50 years, Valerie Jean Speer; children, Kathy Polite, Dana Yokel, Tony Speer, Robert Speer, Daniel Speer; grandchildren, Terri Lynn, Tammy, James, Dawnylle, Lucas, Gavin, Brinley, Hadley; sister, Brenda Craig; and brothers, Gary Speer and Freddie Speer. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Speer, Frank Speer, David Speer, Archie Speer; and children Virginia, Jimmy, Connie, and Earl.
