

Of Jackson, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2016, under the loving care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home staff and her family. She was 92 years old. Frances was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Beulah Musgrove, her husband of 63 years, Earl “Jay” Wilkinson, son Larry E. Wilkinson, brothers Basil and Paul Musgrove, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Marvin and Dorothy Barryman, nephew Mark Musgrove, and grandnephew Scott Denbrock. Frances is survived by her sister Mary (Richard) Flint; sisters-in-law Ruth Musgrove and Mary Frances Musgrove, daughters Donna Davisson and Cassie (Wayne) Mueller; grandchildren Crystal (Joshua) Aprill, Phillip (Lisa) Davisson, Tamra (Michael) Davisson-Allen, Vicky (Bill) Lorencen, Wesley (Randa) Mueller, Eric Wilkinson, Larry Wilkinson and Susan (Mark) Zakala; great grandchildren Michael Davis, Ann-Marie Lorencen, Ryan Lorencen, Dietrich Mueller, Maryam Mueller, Nour Osman, Joshua Aprill, Skylar Aprill and Amber Zakala; great great granddaughter Audrina Davis, and special nieces Brenda Denbrock, Marilyn Helm, Carolyn Flint- Booher, Leslie Barryman and Dawn Barryman along with many other beloved nieces and nephews. A Jackson High School graduate, Frances was a homemaker, who also worked in retail and real estate. As an expression of her faith, Frances developed and lead a successful church youth ministry. She enjoyed the arts, creating porcelain dolls and ceramics, bird-watching, sewing, reading, beautifying her home and garden, and winning at Skipbo. Friends and family were often entertained by Frances’s stories about her grandchildren and her cherished feline companion Noel. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 12:00 noon at First Church of the Nazarene (3905 Clinton Way, Jackson, MI 49201) with Pastor Chris Heydenberg officiating. The family will receive friends at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson, 49202) for visitation on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again at the Church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Frances’s family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for the superb and gentle care provided by the staffs of CareLink of Jackson and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home.
