Frank D. Hinton

Of Jackson, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Hinton; children, Carolyn Sue (Ryan) Scholfield, Jeremy Dennis (Samantha) Hinton, Donald Lee (Melissa) Arnett Jr., Melissa Kay (Rachael Coneall) Arnett, Amy Lynn (Jesse Jones) Arnett, Katherine Marie Arnett, Virginia Ann Arnett; grandchildren, Ashley Marie Arnett, Emma Raelynn Scholfield, Steven Eric Arnett, Dustin Lee Arnett, Tyler Frank Scholfield, JayLinn Sue Hinton; sisters, Joyce (Jack) Vermeulen and Nancy (Roger) Wilkison. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Frank was born in Jackson on June 27, 1952 to Frank and Betty (Miller) Hinton, whom have preceded him in death. He is a graduate of Northwest High School and proudly served in the United States Navy, during Vietnam. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Jackson. He started his own business fixing and building fishing reels. He was employed with Hillsdale Tool for many years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and attending biking events. When he was not riding, he could be found fishing and/or spending time with family. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. A service honoring his life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
