Pa, I miss you like crazy! Don't know where I would be today without you, I always knew you were my biggest fan, no matter what! So glad that you had time to watch my kids grow up, none of us would be the same without you. Love you lots, think of you every day, You know you have always been my angel, now you get the chance to be one!

I'll never forget uncle gordon. I loved to hear him tell stories and laugh. It seemed he could pull me right into the story, and as a small boy I loved it when he got together with Fred and Lawerence. What a team...Rest In Peace

 I guess I should have told you how much I loved having you as a big brother. It was the thrill of my life from the time I was little and until the last time I saw you every time you came home. My heart is broken that you are gone but in my heart you will foreever be my big brother. Love Sue

My Dad was a "jack of all trades" and used his abilities to help anyone who needed him.  He loved his family was very proud of all the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Our vacations were spent visiting family who lived in Kentucky and North Carolina; we were brought up knowing all 42 of our first cousins....family really meant everything to Dad.  There will be a big void in this family forever; we will never forget all the good times together.  
Thanks to everyone for coming to pay respect to his life.

I was very sad to hear that Gordon had passed away. I have so many wonderful memories of the time we spent together over the years: holiday dinners, family cookouts, get togethers, and trips to the casinos. Gordon loved to buy and sell used cars. On many occasions I would drive him around and search for cars. This man was a born salesman. He could negotiate the lowest possible price and then turn it around for the best possible profit. Yes I am sad he is gone, but I feel extremely lucky and fortunate that he was a part of my life for so many years.

We shared the same birthday and my last visit with Gordon was to be a short stop in and ended up a all day visit. Uncle Gordon insisting on taking us out to dinner.  It was a Great Day and memories I will cherish forever.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends   Butch and Bonnie Russell

I have so  many memories of my dear Uncle Gordon Have had him my whole life love you so dearly the fun the laughs the talks of cars the dam cheese cake to bad the world didn't know what a treasure we have with you the love we felt even as children you talk to us and not down also new we would have a good time when you came to visit the gardens the hot dog roast with the chili sauce that you brought and coconut cream pie's and all the chewing gum that you supply to the Russell's children I know you are with my Dad and Uncle Arthur and Mervel, and Maw my heart is so heavy Love Laura

I am sorry for your loss. What fond memories I have of this man I know as Jimmy D’s Grandpa. From the early 1980’s till a year or more ago I would occasionally converse with Gordon when Jimmy and I would be hanging out. Always a pleasant man.

My name is Andy and I helped take care of Gordon during the night shift at Ganton's Care Center. At one point he wanted me to get a hold of his wife at such and such third street. I realized at that point who he was as I live on the corner of Third and Morrell. I'll miss seeing him walk little buddy around the block. Bonnie if you need anything feel free to stop on over at 814 third and ask for anything. :-)
