Gordon Lynn Harris of Jackson, Michigan passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80. He was born March 23, 1942 in Jackson, Michigan to Lavern Vincent and AnnaBelle (Baker) Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first born daughter, Dana Lynn Harris. Gordon married the love of his life and soul mate, Emma (Bradley) Harris, who survives him after 61 years of marriage. He is also survived by his children, Todd (Sarah) Harris, Lisa Harris-Swank and Susan (Sean) Bannon; grandchildren, Robert Holbrook, Chris Holbrook, Dayna Harris, Logan Swank and Nicholas Bannon; and great grandchildren, Landon Holbrook and Camden Swank. Gordon retired from UPS after 30+ years of service. He was a proud Teamster Member Local 164. He had a love for classic cars and was an avid Michigan Wolverine fan as well as a fan of the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. Most importantly, he was a family man, who raised his three children and two grandsons. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Gordon was laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
