Helen E. Irwin

Went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 25 years, Willard Irwin; sisters, Beatrice, Kathryn, Barbara and Eloise and a brother, Walter. She will be remembered by her two children, Robert (Paula) Daum and Debra (Bill) Nibert; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn (Jack) Walls, Louisa (George) Willford, Sharon (Ron) Copeland and brother, Gary (Kaye) Garrison. Helen was one of ten children born to Ira and Delores Garrison in Creston, Iowa and raised in Springfield, Missouri. She lived most of her adult life in Ohio and spent the recent years in Michigan. She was a loving mother, wife and was a proud homemaker. She touched the hearts of many and will be missed. A service honoring her life is scheduled at the funeral home on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Steven Newberg officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest in Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania, Ohio. Those who wish may make contributions in her honor to either the Hospice Home or to the Lupus Foundation.
