Of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis (Enbody) Crabtree; three children, Brian (Alicia), Jason (Crissie), and Rebecca Crabtree; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Brittain; as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. Herman was born to William and Maude (Thorp) Crabtree, in Jackson on February 3, 1943. He served in the United States Army and retired from the City of Jackson after many years of service. According to his wishes cremation has been selected and a committal service will be held at Roseland Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Military Honors.
