Howard J. Strickler, of Horton, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbra Strickler and daughter Susan as well as a brother and sister. He will be remembered by his daughters, Sindy (Mike) Long and Janice Strickler; sister, Sherry and brother, Ron (Janet) Strickler; five grandchildren, Ryan (Jolene) Hammond, Jaime (Jeremy) Long, John (Jennifer) Hammond, Steven (Penni) Holiday and Kathy (Aaron) Ely; thirteen great grandchildren as well as special nieces and nephews. Howard was one of six children born to Edward and Vivian Stickler in Bangor, Michigan. He worked as a security guard for 20 years then retired from Vista Grande Villa; enjoyed fishing and racing. Per his request, cremation has been selected and there will be no services. Contributions to assist with final expenses will be appreciated. "OH YEAH" "BEAUTIFUL DAY"
