Ike Tingley

Passed away at his home on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Tingley; son, Bill Tingley and grandson, Eric Tingley. He is survived by his children, Fred (Imogene) Tingley, Joe Tingley, Marian (Robert) Ecker and Peggy (Tom) Westrick; grandchildren, Brian Tingley, Greg Alspaugh, Jodi Rogers, David (Victoria) Tingley, Tina (Mark) Maloney, Kelsey Tingly, Jeanine Ecker, Mindy (Ryan) LaRocca and Tommy (Johnna) Westrick; great grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Ryan, Kacey, Erin, Emma, Jake, Alex, Hailey and Taylor; great-great granddaughter, Brooke; sister Bea Borkowski as well as many nieces and nephews. Ike was born to Burt and Cora Tingley in Rives Junction. He was a WWII Veteran and retired from Heat Controller after many years of service. He was a proud family man, enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He touched the hearts of many, friends were just as important as family to him and he will be greatly missed. A service celebrating his life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Scott officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
