Jack William Lundstrom

age 96 of Jackson, Michigan, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, July 7, 2025. Born in Muskegon, Michigan to Ella Filppi and Elmer Lundstrom. Jack was an adventurous man who traveled well into his 90's. He enjoyed a long full life filled with many excursions, enjoyed viewing wildlife, golfed until he couldn't golf anymore, took up skiing late in life, was a big fan of "car camping", and his greatest passion in life was hunting with his brother Elmer and best friend, Cal. Jack served in the United States Army Air Corps from 1946 to 1949 and loved being in the Air Corps and serving his country. After completing his military service, he returned to Muskegon and completed two years at Muskegon Community College before becoming a lifelong Spartan, attending Michigan State University and graduated with an engineering degree in December, 1954. He spent his career at Consumers Power Company in Jackson, Michigan where he worked for 32 years. Jack married Jane Emmons in June of 1953 and raised their two children in Jackson, Michigan. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Jane Lundstrom (2011). He is survived by his two children John (Sally) Lundstrom of Scottsdale, Arizona and Jill (Mark) Widing of Crystal Lake, Illinois, and is lovingly remembered by his niece Susan DeRose, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. At Jack's request, no formal funeral service will be held.
