Jean Elizabeth Booth

Jean Elizabeth (Clemons) Booth of Brooklyn, MI passed away peacefully, while under the kind and compassionate care of the staff at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the age of 95. She is survived by her children, Donna (Charles) Lee, Linda (Larry) Donihue, Karen Booth, David A. (Dorothy) Booth; grandchildren, Brian Lee, Melissa Sildack, Jennifer Merritt, Gail Roberts, Jason Booth, Timothy Donihue and David W. Booth; sixteen great grandchildren; seventeen great-great grandchildren; brother, Emerson Clemons as well as many loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Dayrl A. Booth; son, Darrell "Randy" Booth and granddaughter, Jeanna McIntyre. Jean was born on April 18,1927 in Jackson to Floyd A. Clemons and Helen (Fuller) Clemons. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafting, attending craft shows, fishing, cooking, baking, gardening and garage sales. The family would like to thank Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice and family caregivers for the excellent care Jean received.

A service honoring Jean will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI 49202). Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM till time of service. Jean will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Care.
