Dixie Foster and her family would like to thank the many friends, neighbors, and family members who have extended their kind thoughts and actions.  The death of a family member seems like such a lonely and painful event until the shared sympathy of others helps to lighten the load of grief.  You have all shared with us the experiences and memories that you had with John which only add to our own happy memories.  Thanks to all.

Dixie and Family, After 6 weeks out of state, I returned on March 23 and have just caught up on Cit Pats from my last few weeks away.  I was surprised and saddened to read of John's passing.  I immediately reflected on time we spent at Pickerel Lake, John's ability to really excel in his hobbies, and his dry humor.  He will be missed but left many memories.  Please keep in touch.

I am sorry to hear of John's passing. I remember fondly both Dixie and John while I lived next door to them on Jericho. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

Dad will be missed by many, but I must say that I lost my father 34-years ago, and when I married Rick, John became my dad and Dixie my mom.  Having been embraced by such a loving second set of parents has been a blessing in my life. Dad, you will be missed

I was so very sorry to hear of John's death.  He was a good friend to Orville and they enjoyed talking to each other about the old times.  Can't believe they both passed away so close in time to each other.  My condolences to you Dixie and the family. May you have peace during this time.
