She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, John Anderson; her son and daughter-in-law, James and Brandie Anderson; and her six beloved grandchildren, Sean, Emily, Jimmy, Andrew, Orion, and little Ivy. Throughout her final days, Kathy demonstrated remarkable strength, fortitude, and an infinite love for her family, complemented by her quiet-natured humor. An avid animal lover, particularly fond of cats, she was a dedicated supporter of the community. Her contributions were numerous and varied, including decades as President of The Women’s Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles (#612) and extensive volunteering with animal rescue agencies such as Cascades Humane Society. She also volunteered with the Salvation Army, The Fresh Food Initiative, and Toys for Tots alongside the US Marine Corps.

Her joy was in blessing her grandchildren with whatever their hearts desired, and her legacy is one of unwavering love, benevolence, and the profound impact she made on the world through the many lives she touched and transformed.
As the heart of her family, Kathy was always there with a listening ear and unconditional love. Her 28 years as a grandmother brought boundless joy to her and her grandchildren alike. Her spirit will continue to guide us all.
