Of Jackson, joined her husband, William Bowers in Heaven, on June 24, 2015 at the age of 96. She will be remembered by her daughter, Cynthia (Bruce) Bussing of Haslett; two granddaughters, Betsy Bussing of Chicago; Sarah (John) Vlnka and great grandson, Marshall of Grass Lake. Kathryn was born in Jackson on August 13, 1918 to Max and Leone (Fortier) Bair. She graduated from Jackson High. She worked as a Medical Assistant to Dr. Niekamp and retired after many years. She volunteered for Disability Connections and was a reading mentor at Northwest Schools. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Jackson First Presbyterian Church, Tuesday June 30, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor James Hegedus officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday 10:00 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Allegiance Hospice Home.
