Lowell L. McGee

Of Jackson, MI, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 8, 2022, at the age of 83. Lowell was born on March 2, 1938, to parents William and Norma McGee. He was married to his wife Patricia for 64 years. Lowell was a postal clerk for 30+ years. He was a faithful, lifetime member of Loomis Park Baptist Church for 68+ years, serving as a deacon, trustee, and janitor, and maintaining the buses for the expansive bus ministry that transported many children throughout the community to the church. Lowell was a dedicated husband and father, loving grandfather, and a devoted follower of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a hard worker with a sense of humor and a love of woodworking. He is survived by his wife Patricia; children Lowell Thomas "Tom" (Denise) McGee, Shawn (Doug) Lilly, and Donald (Lisa) McGee; brother Paul D McGee; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A celebration of Lowell's life will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Loomis Park Baptist Church, 2301 N Elm Ave., Jackson, MI with Pastor Rich officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 11:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Loomis Park Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
