Lyndell Joel Gordon

Of Witt, IL passed away on December 16, 2022 at the age of 65. Lyndell was born on June 18, 1957 to parents Emmett and Mary Gordon. He was born in Jackson, MI and graduated from Northwest High School in 1976. Lyndell moved to Witt, IL later in life. He worked in manufacturing most of his life. He enjoyed watching sports and NASCAR. He loved his family and especially loved when his grandchildren were born. Lyndell is survived by his son David (Ashley) Gordon; grandchildren Elijah Gordon, Ashlynn Gordon, Alexander Gordon, and Stevie Gordon; significant other for many years Marie Devall; siblings Cheryl (John) Henegar and Robert Gordon; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Emmett and Mary Gordon and siblings Carol Sue Burchett, Lonnie Gordon, and Larry Thomas Gordon. A celebration of Lyndell's life will be held on Friday, December 23 at 11:00 AM at Rives Baptist Church, 2800 Berry Rd, Rives Junction, MI., with visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service at Rives Baptist Church. Pastor Dyke Cyphers will be officiating. He will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
