Of Jackson, MI passed away on January 27, 2021 at the age of 92. Margaret was born on June 1, 1928 in Highland Park, MI to parents Bertrand and Louise Hoffman. She married Besondy “Bud” Hagen. Margaret was a school teacher. She was a long-time member of Jackson Women's Golf Association, the University of Michigan Alumni Association, Eastern Michigan Alumni Association, and Jackson Tennis Association. She was also a patron of the Jackson Symphony Orchestra and a founding member of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority, as well as a member of the First Congregational Church of Jackson. Margaret and Bud attended Michigan home football games for over 50 years. She is survived by her children Margaret and John; and grandchildren Caitlin, Natasha, Jack, Ali and Ryan. She is preceded in death by her husband Besondy; parents Bertrand and Louise; and siblings Louise, Joe, Caroline, Bert and Gilbert. A celebration of her life will be held on February 4, 2021 with the Reverend Kerry Taylor-Snyder officiating. She will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
