Of Jackson, passed away Monday, August 19, 2019 at the age of 85. She is survived by her children, Juan M. Rodriguez, Maria E. Rodriguez-Martinez, Irene (Isaias) Albarran all of Jackson; eight grandchildren, Keosha (Jesus) Rosas, Raquel (Joel) Duarte, Alejandro and Erasmo Martinez, Gabriel (Elsa) Albarran, Gerardo Albarran, Araceli (Lupe) Salazar and Leticia Albarran; three brothers, Jose (Celia) Frausto, Sixto Abel (Wilma) Frausto and Ignacio Frausto. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Silvestre Rodriguez. She was a faithful and active member of Comunidad de Sagrado Corazon for many years. Being a wife, mother and grandmother was the most important role in her life. She was also viewed as a mother to many other members within the Hispanic community. She was also delighted to have been able to hold great-grandchildren in her arms, Yoandrei, Valeria, Giovanni, Mateo, Giselle, Sofia, Jesus Jr and Anabelle. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart/St. Stanislaus Church (608 S. Elm Street Jackson, 49203) on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Tim Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. John Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Church.
