Of Jackson, passed away at Allegiance Health October 31, 2013 age 83. She is survived by four children, Alan, David, Norman Jr. (Dawn) and Ann, one step-daughter, Karen and four grandchildren, Shelby, Mark, Paul and Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Nellie Grossman, her husband of 55 years, Norman Richmond and a grandson, Nathaniel Richmond. Marian worked as a secretary for Weatherwax and Mannin Insurance agencies and St. John’s United Church of Christ where she was a member, elder and did volunteer office work until her death. Her main focus was her family which was her pride and joy. Marian had many friends and was loved by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, November 3, 2013 at St. John’s United Church of Christ 801 S. Mechanic St. Jackson at 4:00 P.M. with Reverend Dr. Susan K. Weier officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday at the Church from 2:00 P.M. until service time. Entombment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Monday 10:00 A.M. Memorials may be given to St. John’s United Church of Christ.
