Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the age of 70, while under the care of her family at her home. She was preceded in death by a husband, Franklin Skidmore. She is survived by her husband, Richard Young; nine children, Laura (Terry) Walters, Jackie (Craig) Harrell, Daphne Spayde, Erik Skidmore, Dennis Skidmore, Becky (Johnny) Walker, Ron Ritchey, Mike Ritchey and Lisa Young as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marian was one of four children born in Sandusky, Ohio. She relocated to Jackson in the 1960’s where she raised a family and retired from ADCO after many years of service. Marian was kind hearted and was always willing to help when she was able. She touched the hearts and lives of many and will be greatly missed. A service celebrating her life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Concord, Michigan.
