Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on January 20, 2016 at the age of 54. Margie was born on August 28, 1961 to parents Roger and Aileen Farmer in Jackson, Michigan. She had a passion for music; composing, teaching and playing the flute, piano and singing. Margie was a member of the South Jackson Community Church for many years. She is survived by her father, Roger; step-mother, Carol; brother, Kent (Kathy); step- sister, Cathy; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends, Barb and Larry Shaltis and Ross and Carla Mahan. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Ruth Farmer; mother, Aileen Farmer; and step-brothers, D.R. Hewlett, Randy Hewlett, and Wally Hewlett. A celebration of Margie’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Masonic Temple (100 West Main St., Parma MI 49269) at 11:00 A. M. with visitation from 10:00 A. M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Parma Springport OES 127 or the charity of one’s choice.
