Of Jackson, passed away at her home on April 16, 2014 age 90. She was born in Bardwell, KY on April 4, 1924, Myrtle was a long time resident of Jackson with her husband and she retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rutherford of Jackson; her son, Bill Rutherford of Ocala, FL and her grandson Deputy William Rutherford of Ocala, FL. She is survived by her loving family; brother, Cecil Holder of Bardwell, KY; daughter-in-law, Arlene Rutherford of Ocala, FL; granddaughter, Denise Matthias (Joel) of Ocala, FL; great grandsons; Justin and Cody Matthias of Ocala, FL, and longtime friends and neighbors Don and Helen Ferris and family of Jackson. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Monday April 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.
