Nora (Buck) Fullerton

Of Jackson, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Buck and Kenneth Fullerton; also her siblings, James Prater, Chuck Prater, Elizabet “Liz” Elliott, Corinne Dehaven, Sally Collins, Julie Wright, Burl Prater, Kernie Prater, Molly Underhill and Linda Bailey. She is survived by her three children, Barb (Leo) Witkowski, Sherry Buck and Tammy (Duane) Henley; as well as four step-children, Gordon, Laurie Ann, Arnold and Vernon; seven grandchildren, Christopher Avery, April and Jason Witkowski, Tonya, Monique, Caitlyn and Dustin Henley; four great-grandchildren, Katie and Colton Witkowski and Jerod and Prescious Gates; siblings, Lacy Prater, Willie “Bill” Prater, Dorothy Hill and Norma-Sue Shroads and many beloved nieces and nephews. Nora was one of 15 children born to James and Lula Prater in Kentucky. She came to Jackson as a young woman, where she married and raised her family. She was employed at Arbor Manor as a nurse’s aide for 25 years. She was a proud homemaker and loved her family. A celebration of her life is scheduled at the funeral home on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chris Biggs officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Roseland Memorial Gardens.
