Olga was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada the first born child of Macedonian immigrant parents. She grew up primarily in Toronto, Ontario in an area known as "cabbage town". Cabbage Town was mostly inhabited by Macedonian immigrants. Olga studied dress making and pattern design while in school. She was employed in her early adulthood by Simpsons in downtown Toronto as controller. Olga's love of fashion and design stayed with her throughout her life. She retired from her favorite job which was with Sears.
Olga met her future husband Don A Lazaroff while attending a wedding in Toronto. Don and a number of Jackson area Macedonian bachelors went to that wedding in search of Macedonian brides. The rest is history.
After a couple of falls, Olga left her home and moved to Garden Estates (an adult foster home). She was so happy there, living the life of a golden girl with her lady friends. Laury Radala took such good care of her and Olga loved her so much that she was teaching her how to speak Macedonian.
GOD, family, church, fashion, music, laughter, travel and of course the occasional trip to a casino made her happy. She was well known for her homemade yogurt and her "suck the fluid out of you" chocolate chip cookies. Olga also loved to knit hats and scarves. That love was passed on to her late granddaughter Angela.
