Age 14, of Jackson, was granted his angel wings on Thursday, May 5, 2016, following a lifelong illness. His final days were spent surrounded by the family and friends that Paul had touched in some small way throughout his brief yet unforgettable life. Paul’s life may seem too short to many, but those that had the privilege to know him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His vibrant smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he spoke few words, his voice and thoughts were always heard. Among the ones Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Christine LaFountain and Bradley Kirchberg; sister, Madison Coleman; two brothers, Collyn LaFountain and Lincoln Kirchberg; grandparents, Albert and Celeste LaFountain also Doug and Bonnie Culler; great grandparents, Dorothy LaFountain, Ross Smith, Voyale and Margy Trine; aunt, Heather (Mike) LaFountain; uncle, AJ LaFountain; great aunt and uncle, Nancy and Jack Fugate; several great aunts, uncles and many cousins as well as special friends, Bobby Coleman, Donna Huling-Waldron, Al Edwards, Melissa and Hannah Bliss, Kassondra Higelmire, Natasha Nelson and all of the wonderful staff at Lyle Torrant and Kit Young Center. The family will receive friends at Chas J. Burden & Son Funeral Home for a memorial visitation on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. and will share thoughts at 4:30 p.m.
