Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by his mother Lola M. White, son Richard Johnson, sister Bessie B. White; brother-in-law Robert Goodloe; sister-in-law Sandra Faye White; niece Brenda White, and nephew Barry White. He is survived by his siblings Curtis (Bessie) White, MC White, Lucile White, Salis White, Jr., and Floyd White; and a host of nieces and nephews. In his younger days he had a passion for collecting guns. He loved to dance, watch westerns and kung fu. He was a fan of Bruce Lee and James brown. Percy had a proud walk. He was a loving father and had a close relationship with his only child Richard. He was protective of his sisters and brothers.
Percy was born in Sheffield, Alabama on August 15, 1942. He relocated to Michigan in 1972. He worked for New Heaven Foundry, retiring after 28 years of service. The family would like to Thank Vista Grande Villa health center staff for taking such good care of Percy over the last few years leading up to his final days.
