Of Jackson, MI. He was born April 21, 1930. On March 18, 2020. Dick passed away at home in the loving hands of his wife Ruth and step-daughter Shirley. Who promised to take him to Kimmie K's every morning for breakfast. Dick was a retired plumber of 40 years and a member of Local 333. Whoever talked to him will always remember him. He is preceded in death by grandson Cullen Kujawa and great-granddaughter Evelyn Gunn. He is survived by his wife Ruth Gunn, His children Dena (Ken) Hayner, Paula (Art) Bamm and John Francis Gunn II, grandchildren Aaron Hayner, Angela Hayner, Alicia (Chad) Hobart. Janelle (Dean) Hoopes, Johnny (Megan) Gunn and Heather (SCF Vido) Barina. 4 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 5 step-children, 13 step-grandchildren, 27 step great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Dick will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery. A service honoring his life will be held at the Michigan Center Eagles #3634 (302 Fifth Street, Michigan Center, MI) on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11:00 am where he will receive military honors.
