Of Jackson, passed away on March 16, 2014 at the age of 71. Bob was born to Herbert and Antoinette Rose on August 24, 1942 in Troy, Michigan. He married the love of his life Margaret A. (Peggy) Perry in Jackson, MI on June 1, 1968. Bob was a car salesman for many years. He was known as Karaoke Bob, he loved harness horse racing, riding motorcycles with his kids, loved spending time with his grandchildren and time in Houston, TX during the winter months with his sister. Bob is survived by his wife, Peggy; children: Lawrence J. Vail II, Yvonne M. (Rose) Vieta, Robert H. Rose, Robyne R. Rose; grandchildren: Steven R. Rose, Amanda M. Vail, Logan W. Boone, Shawna M. Webb, Esten C. Vail, Landon L. R. Rose; and sister, Sheila Schultz. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and cousin, Buster Rose. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the funeral home from 4-8pm with Military Honors at 5:30pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family.
