Robert Lee Clark

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away unexpectedly in his sleep in Live Oak, Florida on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the age of 57. He is survived by his mother, Janice Cornwell; step father, Elliott Cornwell; step mother, Almeda Clark; sister, Sherrie Clark; sister in law, Deborah Stone; step brothers, Brad Fish, Randall Cornwell; step sisters, Patty Mapes and Tina Daley; nieces, Amber Romano, Toni Clark, Courtney Fisher and Hailey Fisher; life partner, Kay Conley. Bob had special connections to his niece Toni along with all of his aunts, uncles and cousins. Cousins, Michael Atkins, April and Tom Loring played a special role in the quality of Bob’s life. Bob fought mental illness all of his adult life without ever complaining. Bob was born September 17, 1965 in Jackson, Michigan to William "Bill" Clark Sr. and Janice (Moffat). In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his older brother, William "Billy" Clark Jr.; step sister, Kathy Orner. Bob was the most generous, helpful and grateful man. He loved his family, friends and sports. He was a family man. If you knew Bob you loved and admired him. If we all lived life with as much grandiosity, enthusiasm and vigor as Bob did the world would be a much better place. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson, Michigan 49202) on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until time of service. Following the service, Bob will be laid to rest in Jerome Cemetery in Jerome, Michigan.
