Robert D. Hildebrand

Of Jackson, passed away at the age of 87 on Friday, February 14, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Anna Hildebrand and daughter in-law, Linda Hildebrand. He is survived by his children, Robert L. Hildebrand of Jenison, MI, Carol (Jim) Carothers of Jackson and Larry Hildebrand of Colorado; seven grandchildren, Rebecca (Adam) Hildebrand, Mickey (Jesy) Carothers, Kimberly (Matt) Burleson, Angela Hildebrand, Kristin (Travis) Wesolowski, Kathryn Hildebrand and Allison Hildebrand; five great grandchildren, Domanic Khan, Daniel Wesolowski, Emmary Carothers, Katelee Carothers, Sophia Burleson and one on the way. Robert was born to William and Amelia Hildebrand in Jackson on October 13, 1926. After graduating from Jackson High he served in the United States Army; then returned to Michigan. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and spent his working career as a Pharmacist. He had a strong faith in the Lord and attended Grace Church. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. According to his wishes cremation has been chosen and a service honoring his life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:00A.M. followed by Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 10:00A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Church.
